Message from President DeSanctis | Plan for Reopening Auraria Campus
May 21, 2024

Dear CCD Community,

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, all institutions on the Auraria Campus (Auraria Higher Education Center, Metropolitan State University Denver, University of Colorado Denver, and Â鶹Éç of Denver) will begin reopening campus. Most buildings on campus will be restricted to badge access unless otherwise posted.

The safety and well-being of our students, staff, faculty, and visitors remain our top priority. As a reminder, we have partnered with CSEAP's team to offer you support at no charge. Additionally, please always maintain awareness of your surroundings.

If you are experiencing an emergency, contact ACPD immediately. I urge you to save their contact information. In an emergency, every second counts. Calling 911 from a non-campus phone will route to the Denver Police Department and then transfer to ACPD, adding a significant delay in law enforcement response.
